How to get into John 3:16 Ministries
Call 870-799-2525 between 8:30 and 4:30 Monday through Friday, or Saturday morning until noon. Women call 870-834-9959. You will do a phone interview on that call. If it goes well, your next step is the Sunday morning service on campus at 10:00am, followed by an in-person interview in the chapel. If you meet the criteria, expect to be accepted and to start your stay that day, so bring your packing list with you.
The steps
- 1The person needing help makes the call. Not a friend, not a parent, the person who is going to live here.
- 2An intake worker completes a phone interview with you, usually about 15 minutes.
- 3If you are approved to continue, you are told which Sunday to come.
- 4You come to the 10:00am Sunday service on campus. Women arrive by 9:45am.
- 5You stay in the chapel after the service and finish the in-person interview.
- 6If you meet the criteria, you are accepted and you begin your stay that day.
Before you call
Have these where you can see them:
- —What you are using, how much, and how long it has been going on
- —Any open court cases, probation, or pending charges, and the county
- —Any medications you take, with the names and doses
- —The name and number of somebody who can drive you here on Sunday and sign you in
None of this disqualifies you. Being vague about it will.
